Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and sign-in records.
• Purchase data: order contents and totals. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Learning data: slide progress, quiz and exam attempts, scores and certificates.
• Verification lookups: the certificate number searched, a hashed network address and browser type, used for rate limiting and abuse detection.
• Contact messages: what you send through our contact form.
• Guide requests: your name, email address and, if you give them, company and role when you request a free guide, with the page and campaign that brought you to it.
• Analytics and advertising data: when enabled, Google Analytics and Google Ads record pages and courses viewed, add-to-cart, checkout, guide request and purchase events, and the ad click that brought you to the site, using cookies such as _ga and _gcl_aw.

How we use it

To deliver courses you purchased, save your progress, issue and host certificates, send transactional email (receipts, certificates, sign-in links), send the guide and the short series of tips that follows it (you can stop these at any time), answer support requests, prevent fraud, measure which of our ads and pages work, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party advertising on the site.

Public information

When you earn a certificate, its number, your name as recorded on it, the course title, issue and expiry dates and status are visible to anyone who enters the certificate number on our verification page. This is the purpose of the certificate. Contact us to have a certificate marked revoked if you no longer want it verifiable.

Referral codes

When a purchase is made with a referral code, the person who owns that code can see the buyer's name and what was bought, but not the buyer's email address or payment details.

Processors

We use Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting) and Google (Analytics and Ads measurement). Each processes data under its own terms and security program.

Retention

Account and learning data are kept while your account exists. Certificate records are kept indefinitely so that verification keeps working. Verification lookup logs are kept for 12 months.

Your rights

You can view and update your profile at any time. Email support@planetiso.com to request a copy of your data or deletion of your account. Deleting an account removes personal data except certificate records required for verification, which are retained with the holder name as issued.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and the shopping cart. When analytics is enabled we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and Google Ads cookies to attribute guide requests and purchases to the ad that led to them. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser without affecting your access to courses.
