1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of the PlanetISO website and training courses operated by PlanetISO LLC ("PlanetISO", "we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a course you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Courses are licensed to the individual account holder and may not be shared. Group purchases require one account per learner.

3. Purchases and access

Prices are shown in US dollars and charged at checkout through Stripe. On successful payment you receive access to the purchased courses in your account. Access to a purchased course and to any certificate you earn does not expire while PlanetISO operates the service. We may update course content to reflect changes to the underlying standards.

4. Examinations and certificates

Each course ends with a final examination. Passing requirements and the number of permitted attempts are stated on the course page. On passing, PlanetISO issues a Certificate of Completion in the name recorded in your profile. Certificates may carry an expiry date set for that course. You must complete the course yourself; certificates obtained through impersonation or shared accounts will be revoked.

A PlanetISO Certificate of Completion evidences completion of PlanetISO training. It is not a personnel certification, a registrar certification, or an endorsement by ISO, IAQG, SAE International, any accreditation body or any certification body. PlanetISO is not affiliated with those organizations.

5. Public verification

Certificate numbers, holder names, course titles, issue and expiry dates and status are made available through our public verification page so that third parties can confirm a certificate. By earning a certificate you consent to this publication. You may request removal by contacting support, in which case the certificate is marked revoked.

6. Intellectual property

Course materials are the property of PlanetISO or its licensors and are provided for your personal study. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, record or create derivative works from them. Standards referenced in our courses are the property of their respective publishers; we paraphrase requirements and do not supply standard texts.

7. Refunds

Our refund policy is set out at /legal/refunds and forms part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to access other learners' data, to interfere with the service, to scrape the verification database, or to use the service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Courses are provided for training purposes. We do not guarantee any particular outcome in an audit or certification process. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanetISO's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email or on the site. Questions go to support@planetiso.com.
