About this course
AS9100D clause 7.3 says every person working under your company's control must be aware of the quality policy, their objectives, how their work affects product conformity and product safety, what happens when requirements are not followed, the documents that apply to them, and why ethical behaviour matters. Certification auditors test this by asking people on the floor, in the stockroom and at the purchasing desk. This course gives those people the answers, in their own words.
You will learn why aerospace has its own quality standard, who the IAQG is, what OASIS shows your customers, and what a surveillance audit day looks like from your workstation. You will walk through each item on the clause 7.3 list with practical habits: finding the policy and objectives, checking revisions, dealing with obsolete documents, following the router, using your own stamp only, FOD basics, traceability, and the identify, segregate, tag, tell rule for nonconforming product.
The course is written for operators, inspectors, stores and shipping staff, buyers, planners and office staff at AS9100D certified companies and their suppliers. It needs no prior knowledge of the standard and runs about 75 minutes.
The course closes with a 10-question examination drawn from a bank of 20. On passing you receive a PlanetISO Certificate of Completion with lifetime access to the course content. The certificate does not expire and can be filed as evidence of AS9100D awareness training.
